RCVS Accredited Practice

Moor Cottage is regularly inspected by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons every four years to ensure we meet the highest standards. We were last inspected in November 2013 and passed with flying colours!

This is the highest possible level for a UK veterinary establishment. Only 1 in 10 UK practices achieve this standard and can call themselves a Veterinary Hospital. The majority of Veterinary Practices in this country are only just becoming part of an independently examined accreditation system.

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons requires us to reach a minimum standard in a number of areas including Health & Safety, equipment, 24 hour in-patient care and staff training. Find out more: RCVS accreditation.
