Mary Kim

BVetMed MRCVS

Having graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2001, I headed up north to spend a few years in mixed practice near the Lake District. A love for travelling & an interest in community development work then led me to Uganda to volunteer for a year with JENGA’s Goat Project.

Missing my small animal patients and the good old British weather (!) I then spent a few years in Hertfordshire & Birmingham in small animal practice. Over the years I have developed an enthusiasm for our feline friends, particularly the furry pensioner variety, but enjoy all aspects of veterinary practice.

It is very rewarding to meet the lovely owners attached to the pets that come in to see us and I am very happy to have joined Moor Cottage in 2016 after spending the last 3 years with my family in South Korea. Our daughter & son keep me on my toes & we look forward to adding a furry member to our family now we are settled back in the UK.
