Veterinary Appointments
We work on an appointment only system – each consultation being routinely a full 15 minutes long. Our appointment book and rota system allows you to choose a specific Veterinary Surgeon well in advance. This means that a good relationship can be built up and maintained between a specific Veterinary Surgeon and the client and their pet, which is particularly important when dealing with an ongoing condition.

Nurse Clinics –
There are also a range of nurse appointments available throughout the day e.g. nutrition, weight, health checks, nail clipping, parasite concerns and so on. Many of these are free consultations.

Monday – Friday:
- Routine Vet Appointments: 8.30a.m. – 7.30p.m.
- Nurse Appointments for patient admissions: 7.30a.m. – 9.30a.m.
- Nurse Appointments general: 10.00a.m. – 6.30p.m.
- On Premises Emergency Out of Hours Cover: 7.30p.m. – 9.00p.m. (Moor Cottage Staff)
- In-patient Visiting Hours: arranged on an individual basis.
Saturday
- Routine Vet Appointments: 9.00a.m. – 12.30p.m.
- On Premises Emergency Out of Hours Cover: 12.30p.m. – 4.00p.m. (Moor Cttage Staff)
- Nurse Appointments general: 10.30a.m. as available.
- In-patient Visiting Hours: arranged on an individual basis
Sunday
- On Premises Emergency Out of Hours Cover: 8.30a.m. – 1.00p.m.
- In-patient Visiting Hours: arranged on an individual basis
