As a Veterinary Hospital and Practice we cover all aspects of your pet’s well being – in sickness and in health; the complete care for your pet. From a straight forward health check or vaccination to some of the most delicate of surgical and the most intensive of medical management: the majority of problems can be dealt with by our friendly team on site.

The team of Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses, Reception and Administrative Staff along with the Support Staff all work together to provide the high quality of clinical care and client service of which we are proud.

We have a keen interest to develop everyone’s potential within Moor Cottage. The status of Nurse Training Practice and our Investors in People accreditation are only part of the background work which goes into the development of such an expert team.

Moor Cottage invests a significant amount of time and effort into its staff, which is reflected in the high level of expertise that we can offer in many areas within the Hospital. From specialist Nursing Diploma holders to management qualifications, from Veterinary Certificate holders to counselling expertise, our team has a rich and varied knowledge base – which helps us support and be of service to you, our clients and their pets.

With such a dynamic team, it is important that they are given the right environment to work in and the right equipment and materials to use. A steady phasing of redevelopment and expansion of the building was completed in July 2004 when the major front of house refurbishment project was completed. In the preceding five years all the Hospital’s clinical areas had received a complete refurbishment.
