Referral Team

Mark Craig BVSc CertSAD MRCVS

Having qualified from Liverpool University in 1985 I then spent five years in general veterinary practice. For the next three years I undertook a Dermatology Residency at the Royal Veterinary College where I gained my Certificate in Small Animal Dermatology. Since then I have set up Re-Fur-All Referrals, a veterinary dermatology referral service in the South of England and Midlands where my particular interest is itchy dogs and cats!

In addition I have written and lectured extensively on animal skin diseases, translated dermatology articles and text books from French to English, and presented papers at national and international dermatology congresses.

My referral sessions at Moor Cottage Veterinary Hospital take place every 3-4 weeks, with an initial consultations taking around an hour and a quarter with subsequent consultations lasting between 20 to 30 minutes. These may be longer if intradermal allergy testing is performed. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet!
